Someone saw this scheme here Badges for prisoners in Concentration Camps  and wanted to know what happens to the traitors of the Nazy party. Many unpleasant things, one of which is the procedure depicted here above, called "excision".
When they enlist into the party, all the male members are branded with fire on their chest with a pentika (usually this happens during fancy ceremonies in which hundreds of young nazys are branded one after the other like a flock of sheep).  

So, when someone is found guilty of treason (and therefore unworthy of bearing the "holy" symbol ) that part has to be surgically removed  

Yes, I know that this is a bit of a spoiler, but at the pace that I'm updating the comic, I'll get to this point in about 10 years.. There is plenty of time for forgetting everything..  and yes this Excision here happens after this one The death of Ewin Himlen Morkner
