Where is Wally?
My first attempt to do a complex scene.. In hindsight a lot of things could have been done far better and with less effort, but it was a good exercise. I still have problems with the people who look like a puree of mashed meat...

The structure with the golden roof is the monument that Egmont builds in honor of himself for his 21th birthday. It is also where the Crowning takes place (it was in the background here The coronation of the XIX King of Ytalia).
I was inspired by the the Vittoriano (the largest monument in Rome, which is also known as "Altare della Patria", i.e. "Altar of the Fatherland")


I rendered this thing in Maya software (because my poor old pc cant afford mental ray )
The whole scene is super low poly (less than 160.000 faces), rendering time (at 3600 x 2700 px) was 7 min, 34 sec (and I had to render the AO separately, for another 5 minutes). Editing and post processing maybe half an hour.
